Job Description

Primary Function:

Reporting to the Finance Director, APAC, and acting as trusted advisor to the leadership team, you will lead the APAC FP&A function to provide strong financial management, business partnering, decision support and financial strategy.

You will deliver the management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial strategy, and utilise your well-developed relationship building and influencing skills to advise, support and challenge senior executives, providing quality information to optimise operations and business outcomes.

Scope of Duties:

• Responsible for the preparation of the Monthly Management Reports and the Board Reports in collaboration with the Finance Director, APAC, which includes management P&L, statutory P&L, balance sheet and cash flow statement for both actuals, budget and forecast as well as various operational KPI’s and industry metrics.
• Preparation of high quality and timely performance reporting to help the business units to achieve volume and revenue targets.
• Prepare the annual budget; half yearly forecasts and strategy financials, creating the templates to be developed and completed in collaboration with the Country Finance Managers and Finance Director APAC.
• Long-term strategic planning – assisting the development of 5 year strategic plans.
• Analyse the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as sales, expenditures, and profit margin.
• Prepare various Cashflow and debtors reporting metrics.
• Monitor KPIs and identify the cause of any unexpected variances.
• Analysis of Market insights around commodities/ customers & various external influences on business performance.
• Develop and continuously improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecast.
• Implement a business intelligence tool and dashboard reports.
• Develop financial models and analyse them to support strategic initiatives.
• Ad-hoc modelling of historical and forecast financial results for investor discussions.
• Support management team with data-driven analysis.
• Ad-hoc business performance reporting.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance.
• 5 years post qualification experience a FP&A/Business Partnering role.
• Power BI Experience desirable.
• Advanced Excel Skills mandatory and sound financial modelling skills.
• A strong track record in financial planning and analysis, a commercial orientation, and a natural curiosity and discovery orientation when it comes to what makes an organisation tick.
