Job Description

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential support to healthcare professionals and assist patients with their basic daily needs. You will play a vital role in patient care, ensuring their comfort, hygiene, and overall well-being. CNAs work under the supervision of registered nurses or other healthcare professionals to deliver compassionate and effective care in various medical settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  • Monitor and document vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate.
  • Help patients with mobility by repositioning them in bed or helping them move between bed and wheelchair.
  • Provide basic care and ensure patient hygiene, including changing bed linens and assisting with toileting.
  • Communicate patient concerns and updates to nurses and other healthcare staff.
  • Offer emotional support and build relationships with patients and their families.
  • Maintain a clean and safe patient environment by following hospital or clinic protocols.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and other daily activities.
  • Compassionate, patient, and able to handle stress in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
