Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

System Configuration & Management: Design, configure, and maintain Cisco-based networking systems (routers, switches, firewalls) and associated infrastructure.
Network & Systems Integration: Integrate Cisco systems with other hardware/software solutions to provide end-to-end solutions for clients.
Performance Tuning & Optimization: Monitor network and system performance to ensure efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Troubleshooting & Support: Provide in-depth troubleshooting for Cisco network hardware, including analyzing network traffic and resolving performance bottlenecks.
Security: Implement security policies, conduct risk assessments, and ensure systems are secured against external threats using Cisco’s security solutions.
Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation related to system architecture, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (including network engineers and IT support staff) to implement solutions and resolve issues.
Upgrades & Patches: Perform upgrades and patches on Cisco network devices and related systems to ensure the latest software versions and security updates.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience with Cisco hardware and software solutions (routers, switches, firewalls).
Strong knowledge of Cisco networking protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, etc.).
Familiarity with data center operations, including virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud technologies.
Ability to troubleshoot complex system and network issues effectively.

Desired Experience:

4-6 years of experience in systems engineering, specifically with Cisco solutions.
Hands-on experience working with large-scale networks and complex IT systems.
Background in supporting enterprise-level Cisco solutions.
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE are highly preferred.
