Job Description

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Playing an instrumental role in supporting the financial planning and forecasting process, including managing budgets, analyzing monthly financial results, overseeing headcount management, and producing management reporting, and loading estimates into the forecasting system (Anaplan) each forecasting cycle. Collaborate with the Corporate Finance team to ensure the completeness and accuracy of forecasted line items, and address any errors or reconciliation issues.
  • Improving and simplifying weekly Financial Reporting processes and Executive leadership review sessions, driving standardization, and building scalable reporting solutions along with Product expansion to ensure timely and accurate financial insights. Coordinate with the Corporate Finance team and ensure consistency across teams on respective weekly reporting materials.
  • Investigating and reconciling financial discrepancies to Crypto EU budgets and any new product expansion initiatives, distilling key financial and business insights, identifying cost efficiency measures through vendor level analysis and communicating results

 

Qualification and requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis roles (corporate or business-facing)
  • Ability to work horizontally and vertically in an organization with peers as well as senior leaders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, logical reasoning, and the presentation of potential solutions
  • Excellent analytical skills and the business judgment to balance the details while not losing sight of the big picture, and an ability to determine the “why” behind the numbers
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, and interest in developing sophisticated querying / modeling skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and drive projects to completion
