Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Field and respond to customer inquiries through multiple service channels: phone, chat, email, and online support portal.

  • Support various customer types including provider end‑users, administrators, vendors, and insurance carriers.

  • Research and resolve reported issues while meeting organizational metric targets.

  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as solid organizational and analytical abilities.

  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects or issues at the same time.

  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships..

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2+ years of desktop support, helpdesk support, or technical support experience within the healthcare industry

  • 2+ years of experience handling customer escalations

  • Experience interacting with clients or customers in a professional setting

  • Experience using:

    • Microsoft Word (create correspondence, work within templates)

    • Microsoft Excel (data entry, sort/filter, work within tables)

    • Microsoft PowerPoint (slide creation)

    • Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows Operating Systems

  • Ability to work any 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM CST, with flexibility for occasional overtime based on business needs

  • Very strong soft skills

  • Experience working within the Healthcare IT industry

  • Knowledge of the Payer / Provider environment

  • Familiarity with ANSI X12 / EDI standards for healthcare transactions

  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance regulations

  • Experience with Technical Support or Helpdesk

  • Experience with voice, chat, and email support

  • Experience with Salesforce (preferred)


Technical Skills

  • Pharmacy claims experience

  • ANSI knowledge and experience (preferred)

  • Strong troubleshooting and technical problem‑solving skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong listening skills

  • Strong documentation skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and produce quality results in a team environment

  • Proactive and positive customer service attitude

  • Self‑disciplined and reliable
