Job Description
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
This role will involve working directly with clients to provide professional design advice and recommendations, assisting with product merchandising, and supporting the marketing team with design-related initiatives.
The position coordinates with the marketing department, administrators and employees for mutual concern.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Client Consultation and Design:
- Meet with clients to understand their design preferences, requirements, and project scope.
- Develop customized design concepts and solutions that align with the client's needs and preferences.
- Create high-quality 3D perspectives and visual presentations using designs of software (such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar tools) to help clients visualize the final design.
- Ensure that design proposals are aesthetically pleasing and functional, considering using European tiles and TOTO sanitary ware.
2. Professional Design Advice and Recommendations:
- Provide expert advice on color schemes, textures, materials, and layouts that best suit the client's space.
- Offered recommendations on product selections, including tiles, sanitary ware, fixtures, and finishes, ensuring they align with the client’s style and project requirements.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends, especially in the use of European tiles and TOTO sanitary ware, to provide fresh and modern solutions.
3. Product Merchandising and Showroom Assistance:
- Assist in the visual merchandising of the showroom by designing and updating product displays to showcase the company’s product lines appealingly.
- Update and maintain mockups and sample installations within the showroom, ensuring they reflect current design trends and product offerings.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure product displays effectively communicate design possibilities to clients.
4. Project Coordination and Implementation:
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and installation teams to ensure the seamless execution of design projects.
- Conduct site visits to ensure that installations and design implementations are progressing according to plan and meet the design specifications.
- Address any design-related issues that may arise during the project and provide timely solutions.
5. Client Relations and Aftercare:
- Maintain strong client relationships through continuous communication and follow-ups throughout the project cycle.
- Provide aftercare services, such as advice on maintenance and future renovations, ensuring long-term client satisfaction.
- Address client concerns or adjustments post-installation to ensure the final outcome meets expectations.
