Essential Functions and Duties:
Outbound Collection Activities
Initiate timely and professional outbound calls, voicemails, and SMS to inform them about dishonored payments and the outstanding amount.
Clearly explain the reason for the dishonor (e.g., insufficient funds, account closed, stop payment).
Proactively follow up on promised payments and payment arrangements.
Utilize skip-tracing techniques (within legal and ethical bounds) to locate customers with outdated contact information.
Prioritize accounts based on delinquency level and potential for recovery
Inbound Collection Activities:
Answer incoming calls from customers regarding dishonored payments, payment inquiries, or disputes.
Listen attentively to customer concerns, empathize with their situations, and provide accurate information.
Resolve customer issues related to dishonored payments, billing discrepancies, or account status.
Guide customers through the process of re-submitting payments or setting up alternative payment methods.
Educational Attainment:
Australian year 12 equivalent – Philippine’s equivalent in a related field of study or demonstrated business experience;
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field is a strong advantage.
Work Experience Requirement:
At least 6 months of proven experience in a collection role, preferably within a banking, finance, telecommunications, or BPO environment in the Philippines
Demonstrated experience handling both inbound and outbound calls is highly preferred.
Experience specifically with dishonored checks or failed payment collections is a significant plus.
