- Configuring and monitoring MS SQL database replication/Log Shipping/Mirroring. Database - Patching on various versions of SQL Server. Performance analysis and tuning. - Using extensive SQL expertise to guide solutions, provide implementation and operational support of the various services - Installation, configuration, and up-gradation of MS SQL servers. - Root cause diagnosis, analysis, and troubleshooting. Future Release management for database/instance and - Impact Analysis Research/Recommend - Migration/Upgradation and Regular Patch Management - Configuring and monitoring MS SQL database replication/Log Shipping/Mirroring. Database - Patching on various versions of SQL Server. Performance analysis and tuning
Job Description
- 4+ years of SQL DBA experience with 5+ years of demonstrated IT experience. - Strong in Configuring and maintaining SQL Server 2005,2008,2008 R2 and 2012 and above. - Strong in Replication, Log shipping, Mirroring, Clustering and implementation and Always On. - Strong knowledge of Backup and Recovery of databases. - MS SQL server hardening and strong knowledge of MS SQL Security. - Automation of DBA Tasks using PowerShell/TSQL. - Strong knowledge in Configuration and administration of Cluster Server. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Good exposure to ITIL Processes - Expert in Database Design - Technical Certification in ITIL and SSQL - Azure PAAS Knowledge - No SQL Understanding - Understanding of other Databases
